It would be nice to see Obama govern with a fraction of the ruthlessness he campaigns with. And who gets to whip them out on the table? Wussy Harry Reid.

Even Jon Stewart took Mitt Romney to task, but Reid, despite that savage scolding, is channeling LBJ's brutality, however bland the presentation -- who knows, maybe he read the Caro -- and is doubling down on the claim, indisputable by anyone but Mittens himself, that the presumptive Republican nominee for president "hasn't paid any taxes for ten years." And, of course, being the quintessentially terrible candidate that he is, he plays right into it by continuing to refuse to provide the very information that could prove his accusers to be scurrilous liars. Now, why on earth would he do that, unless ...?

Of course, there can be no other ending than the release of his tax returns. The beauty of it is that the longer he stonewalls, the more solidified becomes the notion, loudly and repeatedly trumpeted, that he's hiding something, and the weaker he'll look when he finally and inevitably capitulates and releases them, by which time the media-fueled certainty that they must be damaging will have the public primed to see them negatively. And they will not disappoint.

Mitt refused to go to Vietnam to protect his beautiful skin of a pampered child and spoiled brat while exercising his powers of a Bully, "Brutal Barber" and "Fake Cop" at age 18, when the neurons of the brain have been perfectly connected in a 99.99% and the personality is totally formed.

Mitt Romney returned from a foreign trip in which he preached Jingoism, Violence, Brutality, Warmongering, Fearmongering, Belligerence, Hostility to Real or Imagined Enemies.

And always presenting President Obama as a coward and sissy that shits in his pants before enemies.

But President Obama killed America's Number One Enemy : Osama Bin Laden, while Mitt Romney was talking a lot of nonsense about the impossibility of Obama achieving that feat.

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is reporting, according to FBI statistics that there's been a spike in anti-Latino hate crimes.  This trend seems to be picking up steam side by side with the national debate over immigration reform. The report also takes a direct aim at politicians’ anti-immigrant rhetoric.

For example, Texas Republican Reps. Louie Gohmert and Debbie Riddle warned the world of “terrorist babies” They claimed pregnant terrorists were sneaking across the border and give birth to future terrorists who would later “destroy our way of life.” FBI Director Tom Fuentes eventually took to CNN to debunk the rumor. “There was never a credible report—or any report, for that matter …  to indicate that there was such a plan for these ‘terror babies’ to be born."

Meanwhile, a new CBS survey of 1,082 adults finds that just 24% of respondents have a "favorable" view of Islam. Nearly 40% said they had an "unfavorable" view of the second-largest religion on the planet, while 37% said they don't have no opinion. Just 22% of all respondents said it was "appropriate" for the Muslim cultural center to be built near Ground Zero, while 71% said it was "inappropriate." These statistics demonstrate that extraordinary power of right wig hate radio and Rupert Murdock's propaganda machine, Fox News, to influence public opinion when they join with Republican party hacks.

POLITICO.COM - Poll by Quinnipiac, CBS News and the New York Times : Obama leads Romney by six points in both Ohio and Florida - My comment : Florida is possible for Romney, and Pennsylvania is a sure bet for Obama

My Comment :

I suspect that Obama also wins Iowa and the Southwest except Arizona.  So if this Poll is True and represents Reality and if these results hold until November 6 then Obama will have a Beautiful Reelection, even if Obama loses Virginia and North Carolina. And by the way Virginia seems possible and reachable for Obama. 

Of course all of this is speculative and Mitt Romney can still win. A good or Bad Economic recovery can push any of the two candidates to Victory. And it is very likely that the Economy will be pumped by the Federal Reserve Board, as always happens before presidential elections.

Mr. Obama holds a six-point lead in Ohio, 50 percent to 44 percent, a state where he holds a campaign event later today. His lead here is also due in large part to women, who back him by a 21-point margin. Romney leads by ten points among Ohio men, and seven points among Ohio whites.

In Florida, Mr. Obama also holds a six point lead, 51 percent to 45 percent. He holds a small lead among both men and women and a 19-point lead among Hispanics, while Romney leads by double-digits among whites and voters age 65 and above.
