Why Mitt Romney May be Mentally Unstable. No, really.

But leaving my personal opinions aside, I'd like to mention a few observations I've made and what I've learned over these past three years -- and that is this: many of these rich elitists are also very addicted to money. Not all, but a great many. But it's not their fault, because just like any other addiction, it's also an illness. But while although they're only human, but for greed, they could still go to Hell...or to prison.

Mitt Romney is both a sociopath and a compulsive liar, and when he's called out on his disingenuous remarks, he dodges the questions the way he dodged the draft during the Vietnam War. Various fact-checking sites have pounced on Romney for several of his prevarications.

About 2.2 million American have some form of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). That's almost 2% of the population. 1% of the total population is 3.1 million, so of the wealthiest Americans, we can estimate that about 2% of 3.1 million is 64,000 people controlling our political and economic system that have some form of sociopathic symptoms. That's a lot of crazy millionaires and billionaires.

But because they are so wealthy, they can go undetected by isolating themselves and putting themselves in controlled environments and when making public appearances. Often their own spouse is unaware of their neurosis. The serial killer Dennis "BTK" Rader's wife had no clue what he was doing for decades.

Ted Bundy was attractive and smart, and had a great future in politics. He worked on the re-election campaign of Washington's Republican Governor Dan Evans. Evans was elected and he appointed Bundy to the Seattle Crime Prevention Advisory Committee. Bundy's political future seemed secure, when in 1973 he became assistant to Ross Davis, chairman of the Washington State Republican Party. Ted Bundy was also one of the most prolific serial killers in U.S. history.

Serial killers are the most successful kind of killer. They frequently stay on the loose for months, years or even decades. John Douglas, a former chief of the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit and author of Mind Hunter says, "A very conservative estimate is that there are between 35 and 50 active serial killers in the United States at any given time". As Ted Bundy said, “We serial killers are your sons, we are your husbands, we are everywhere.”

(He could have added, "We are the 1%.)

It's easier for wealthy people to go undetected, flee the country, or put up a good defense if they're ever caught for their evil deeds. Look at this list of the 1% in my post Murder and Betrayal of the Rich and Famous.

They have wealth, power, and privilege, and can often cover up their misdeeds with their vast network of connections. Ted Kennedy got away with DUI manslaughter; and some think Alice Walton (Wal-Mart) also did. But she did get cited for DUI on other occasions. During one of her DUI arrests she contemptuously asked the police officer," Do you know who I am?" Wealth, power, and privilege.

I'm not saying the top 1% are all murderers and/or thieves, just that the top 1% has just as much a likelihood of being psychotic as anybody else, but getting away with it.

Have you seen the TV show Hoarders? It's a documentary series that airs on A&E and depicts the real-life struggles and treatment of people who suffer from compulsive hoarding. Many of our wealthiest citizens have this condition, but instead of junk, they hoard their money. They live in a constant state of neurotic fear of never having enough.

They're all mentally ill. They all want to cut programs for the poor while cutting taxes for the rich. They all want to further redistribute the wealth to the top 1%. Maybe "capitalism" isn't really broken, but just the leaders of capitalism are broken (mentally ill). Our "captains of industry" (the CEOs) and our "pillars of the community" (the politicians) certainly seem to be broken (pathological), while that rest of us are just plain going broke.

I think that a Presidency of Mitt Romney is an Illusion and Mirage. But what if I am wrong ??

Mitt Romney is a man that has never shown bravery, valor and courage defending a worthy cause. His life and behavior in year 2012 shows that Mitt Romney is not capable of standing up to political intimidation once he becomes President.

In the Republican National Committee, Bettina Inclan is the national Hispanic outreach director, so they do not know what will be the final position of Mitt Romney on Immigration. ( It changes everyday ).

And Bettina continued with her Big Gaffe :

A Republican National Committee roundtable on Tuesday aimed at highlighting the GOP’s Hispanic get-out-the-vote effort ended up backfiring as the RNC’s director of Hispanic outreach struggled to explain to reporters Republicans’ message to Hispanics when it comes to immigration.

Part of the reason for the RNC’s difficulty: Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney (R) is “still deciding what his position on immigration is,” as RNC Hispanic Outreach Director Bettina Inclán termed it.

The episode underscored the difficulty for Romney and Republicans more broadly as they seek to court a key constituency this year.

Professor Geoffrey Hoffman of the University of Houston Law Center says that SB 1070 is Orwellian and Kafkaesque : "SB 1070 itself requires racial or ethnic profiling but the law also (very cleverly) expressly prohibits civil rights violations"

For the Professor SB 1070 is a Civil Rights Nightmare and can be challenged again for Civil Rights Violations, even if the Supreme Court upholds it.

Is it premature to call a place a "police state" where authorities are given authority to detain a person until their immigration status is verified, without regard to the length of the detention? Will a tipping point be reached if the US Supreme Court validates all (or even a portion) of Arizona's SB 1070? The law requires among other things that local law enforcement determine status where a "reasonable suspicion" exists that the person is an undocumented alien.

The so-called "papers, please" law is an apt title because the law will require any person who is "lawfully" stopped, detained or arrested to prove his status, including a fortiorari his US citizenship. When he does not or cannot, then the person can be held for as long as it takes for the state to get confirmation from the federal government and return with a definitive answer — provided such information even exists in federal databases.

The issue of racial or ethnic profiling did not even come up in oral argument, as Chief Justice John Roberts made clear right off the bat in his opening questioning. But racial or ethnic profiling is actually required by this law. What must the law enforcement authorities do if they are to determine whether they have "reasonable suspicion" someone is in the US illegally? Well, it cannot be just the failure to produce a certificate of citizenship, since most Americans have never even heard of one. It cannot be the failure to produce a passport, since almost no one travels with their passport on their person (if they even own one). So, what type of suspicion will be imposed?

The only answer is that law enforcement will now have to determine, after a "lawful" stop which people "look," "act," "speak" or "seem" to be "American."

Every bit of evidence indicates that if he were President, the Far Right would lead Romney around by a ring in his nose.

Just last week, we saw it clearly on display. It didn't take but two weeks for the Far Right to force the Romney campaign to sever its ties with openly gay Richard Grinnell, who it had hired as its foreign policy spokesman. The campaign itself argued that it had begged Grinnell to stay. But right wing talk show host Brian Fischer of the American Family Association, who had led the drive to force Grinnell's resignation, declared it a major victory.

On his radio show, Fischer bragged that Romney had learned his lesson and would never again hire a gay or lesbian in a major campaign role. And you certainly didn't see Romney contesting that assessment.

Instead we've seen Romney lined up shoulder to shoulder on TV with Tea Party icon Michele Bachmann, and Virginia Governor Robert McDonnell -- a potential Romney VP pick and a champion of "trans-vaginal ultrasounds."

The reason why there is not a chance that Romney will ever reinvent himself once again as a "moderate" is that he wasn't really a "moderate" in the first place. He's always practiced one version or the other of ultra right wing, "let Wall Street run wild" Romney economics. And he's never given one thought to firing workers, cutting pensions, loading companies with debt and bleeding them dry of millions of dollars.

People who have no core values have no backbone. You won't find Mitt Romney taking a stand against the dyed-in-the-wool ideologues that dominate the Republican caucus in Congress.

J. T Ready was a long time friend of the recalled Russell Pearce, murdered this family, all because his "girlfriend", grandmother Lisa Mederos (47) was trying to kick him out.
