VIDEO NBC Touré : GOP against Susan Rice : "Looks like the GOP is already laying the foundation for losing in 2016." - Touré, Writer, Cultural Essayist, Novelist, he is a Great Master of Attack. -- I have to take off my hat !

.

"John McCain and Lindsey Graham are old, white, establishment folks wrongly and repeatedly attacking a much younger black woman moments after an election in which blacks and women went strongly blue"

"John McCain is a drowning man, grabbing desperately onto anything he thinks can help save him" -  "He’s still bitter he lost in ’08, and now his time as a powerful senator is waning."

MSNBC host of The Cycle, Touré, attacked Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) on Monday for his role in opposing United Nations ambassador Susan Rice's nomination to replace Sec. Hillary Clinton as the next Secretary of State. Touré claimed that McCain is attempting to secure some of his fleeting influence in Washington as the outgoing ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee and has done his party's image harm as a white politician opposing a black, female candidate.

VIDEO, Cenk Uygur, "Florida GOP Admits to Suppressing Black, Democrat Voters", Florida cut back on early voting in 2011 to reduce the turnout of blacks and other groups likely to vote for Democrats. Former top Republicans in the state are now saying so out loud

.

In an interview with The Palm Beach Post published on Sunday, the former chairman of the Florida Republican Party said voter suppression was the sole reason for the change to the election rules. Jim Greer, the party chairman in from 2006 to 2010, said he went to several meetings during which Republican officials discussed the damage that early voting — which brought an unprecedented number of black voters to the polls in 2008 — had done to the party.

"The Republican Party, the strategists, the consultants, they firmly believe that early voting is bad for Republican Party candidates," Mr. Greer said. "It's done for one reason and one reason only."*

Cenk Uygur breaks down the admitted truth behind voter ID laws being themselves, a fraud to suppress voters with non-conservative interests.

Florida GOP Admits to Suppressing Black, Democrat Voters

*******************************

Speculation and guess on How the American Personality and Character is changing due to the influx of many immigrants in the last decades. And their Children born in America or brought at a tender age

.
And how the Old "White" or Old "Black" Americans have been changing Psychologically or Mentally because of the relationship with the "New Americans".

First, let's observe that the "New Americans" differ very widely of the original populations of their countries of origin. They are healthier and more adventurous than their original neighbors at the start of their lives, bolder and more audacious than their original environment.

That explains a lot about the proverbial Good Health of the "New Americans" and this is confirmed  by many scientific studies about Health and Ethnics. As time goes on the new generations start to lose that quality of excellent Health.

Probably the brain of a person that is very adventurous and bold generates endorphins, and other  neurotransmitters that drive people to some optimism and activity. At least 20 types of endorphins have been demonstrated in humans. And those that generate brain chemicals of adventure and action may enjoy better health than those burdened by pessimism and depression. So the "New Americans" are self-selected.

The New Americans may like work and dislike war and political turmoil, we are talking of course of many Asians, Africans, Latin Americans, etc .... that have suffered the consequences of War as victims, they may have seen brutal regimes in action, so they dislike dictatorship.

So the New Americans are not going to be enthusiastic about the George W. Bush type of "Invasion and Occupation", they may look physically and psychologically like the victims in those countries of the Middle East and South Asia like Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc .... or the most Arab Countries like Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Syria, Sudan, etc ....

So the New Americans are going to be "Doves" and not "Hawks" applauding the Jingoist, Cowboy, Macho Macho politics of a Mitt Romney, John McCain and the harshest and hardest practitioners of "Send in the Marines" in the U. S. Congress.

So America may become softer, mellower, and sweeter towards other Human Beings of distant nations and less warlike, bellicose and belligerent.

Observe also that the intellectual elites in Latin America have always resisted the power of the Catholic Church and there is nothing like the "American Religious Right" in Latin America. So these new Latinos are appalled by the "Christian Talibans" in America. The same Catholic Church in Latin America has a little of "Liberation Theology" and has become less despotic and tyrannical with time.

Someone like "Rick Santorum" or "Paul Ryan" is difficult to imagine in Latin America. The Social Doctrine of the Catholic Church repels Social Darwinism and Ayn Rand Brutality. The Papal Encyclicals have constantly condemned Plutocracy. Nobody in Latin America believes in being chosen by God to rule the World or having the power of "Exceptionalism".

So a Mitt Romney is hard to imagine in Latin America. And Latin American Universities are probably more atheistic than those in the USA. Religion is almost never mentioned in political campaigns in that subcontinent.

There are more points to discuss : The new Latinos could be more noisy, more feisty and even obnoxious, more familiar or family oriented. They believe in the good possibilities of a Federal Government more than the "American Natives", and so they don't understand the Grover Norquists and other crazies, like the U. S. House Republicans pushing for a Fiscal Cliff Hoax.

POLITICO.COM : "Republican Rep. Tom Cole urged colleagues in a private session Tuesday to vote to extend the Bush tax rates for all but the highest earners before the end of the year — and to battle over the rest later"

.
"The Oklahoma Republican said in an interview with POLITICO that he believes such a vote would not violate Grover Norquist’s anti-tax pledge and that he’s not alone within Republican circles".

My Comment : Isn't it shameful and ridiculous that Congress Republicans sign a pledge to a Lobbyist being paid by Rich Interests instead of always working for the common good of America ?? - The pledge should be to all the Nation and not to a particular interest  !

This is the Government by Organized Money that Presient Franklin Roosevelt decried as being worse than Government by Organized Mob.

Cole says Republicans would improve their position by joining hands with the president.

Tom Cole: Join with President Obama on quick deal

Some excerpts :

Republican Rep. Tom Cole urged colleagues in a private session Tuesday to vote to extend the Bush tax rates for all but the highest earners before the end of the year — and to battle over the rest later.

At a meeting of the House GOP whip team earlier in the day, he made the case that Republicans would strengthen their position by joining hands with President Barack Obama now to give most taxpayers what he calls “an early Christmas present” of ensuring their taxes don’t go up on Jan. 1.

Cole’s position is striking because he’s hardly a “squish” — Norquist’s term for a weak-kneed lawmaker — when it comes to Republican orthodoxy. Cole served as chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee and in other official posts within the party.

He might also provide cover for other Republicans looking to make an agreement to avoid a sharp fall off the so-called fiscal cliff.

“I think we ought to take the 98 percent deal right now,” he said of freezing income tax rates for all but the top 2 percent of earners. “It doesn’t mean I agree with raising the top 2. I don’t.”

There is no Hell with the Devil Satan frying you in cheap oil... There are no eternal fires like those that Mike Huckabee and that pastor, the son of Billy Graham paint for us. Graham has no telephone to God and so he can not know that America is going to be destroyed for committing the grave sin of reelecting Brutal Godless Obama

.
But I tell you the true nature of Hell, with some digression on Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, Disneyland, Neverland and Peter Pan.

God creator of quasi-stellars, pulsars, super magnetic fast pulse stars, and black holes one trillion times more powerfult than our sun doesn't give a damn about these pastors.

And this is the True Nature of Hell :

Hell is when you realize and know what other people think of you. .... Imagine the pain and suffering of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan when they found that they were not accepted as Super Geniuses and Demi-Gods ...

Hell is when you realize, like Mitt Romney that :

"Disneyland is the last refuge of the failed vulture presidential candidate".

This is like the Famous Phrase of Samuel Johnson : "Patriotism is the last refuge of the Scoundrel"....

If Mitt Romney pumps gas to his car, unattended by Valets and servants, or if he waits in line to enter the flying cups or tires in Disneyland, with the purpose of showing his "commonality" to run again for President then he suffers from the syndrome of Peter Pan in Neverland.

And there are many things in Romney and vice-President Ryan to remind us of Neverland, the land that never was and where those dreams without fruition go to waste.

Fruition is defined by the "Free Dictionary" as

Realization of something desired or worked for; accomplishment: labor finally coming to fruition.
2. Enjoyment derived from use or possession.
3. The condition of bearing fruit.

They are NOT in possession of the White House and the Seal of the President. ....  And they are beginning to know what other Republicans think of them. These GOPers are sending them to Neverland with Peter Pan and the lost Children.

How to calm the Pain and Suffering of Hell :

I think that Mitt Romney can laugh at himself. Please Mitt adopt a coat of arms with a Vulture hovering over the White House.

You can also order a coffin adorned with Vultures instead of Angels playing Trumpets. And the White House flying over clouds illuminated by a Sun.

And order your Political Tombstone with the inscription : "I flew with the changing winds"....

Paul Ryan can order his monument and mausoleum in the Republican Cemetery topped with a statue of Ayn Rand weeping and sobbing for the failure of the dreams of her disorganized life of an artistic poseur.

Imagine the fight against Susan Rice in the U. S. Senate : McCain and a bunch of old white guys standing in the way of the ascension of a young, talented, guilty-of-nothing African-American woman in order to score cheap political points in a fight that, eventually, they would be all but certain to lose

.

From New York Magazine - Some Excerpts :

Imagine how that will help resuscitate the Republican brand. Imagine.

************************

With 55 Democratic votes in the Senate now, the administration is all but assured of having a majority to confirm Rice if Obama puts her name forward.

**********************

The only way to halt her nomination would be by waging a filibuster, and even that effort might not prove fruitful—since if Democrats were to remain united, only five GOP defectors would be necessary to shut it down, and in the current environment of Republican soul-searching, finding those five votes might not be all that hard.!
