Governors of Texas Rick Perry and Wisconsin Scott Walker refuse to set up a website to give information to people about best options to buy Health Care Insurance ( Private Sector Insurers ). They do not want to give information to the public because of Hate against Obama and ObamaCare.
This is Capitalism and Market Economy, this is not socialism. But these Governors are ideologues, dogmatic doctrinaires, bigots, right wing fanatics.
So by refusing to give information to the people in their states they harm their interests.
The Federal Government will have to set up the Information Exchanges in the Internet if these bigots continue being adamant.
A health insurance exchange (HIX) is a set of state-regulated healthcare plan whereby individuals can purchase health insurance eligible for federal subsidies. Ideally, these exchanges allow consumers to purchase more cost-effective insurance within a competitive market. The exchanges are not themselves providers, but better regulate the insurance companies that are able to participate in the exchanges, and receive federal subsidies for certain services. These marketplaces promote transparency and accountability and facilitate cost-containment by sharing high-costs within the marketplace.
States have a November 16, 2012 deadline to submit blueprints to the federal government if they want to run their own healthcare insurance exchange.
If a state is unwilling or unable to establish an exchange, the U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) Department will assume primary responsibility for operating a federally based exchange in the state.
