CPAC is the emotional beating heart of the GOP, not the most intelligent or intellectual. CPAC is the "Conservative Political Action Conference". The National Rifle Association ( NRA has been one of the most prominent cosponsors in recent years ( there are other 100 conservative associations that support CPAC )

Chris Matthews says that he may be the only guy that reads the "Republican Platform".

The more things change withing the GOP, the more they stay the same. This is not so revolutionary as a meeting of Lenin and the Bolsheviks before the Russian Revolution. These guys are not Danton, Marat and Robespierre.
