VIDEO : North Carolina Policy Watch : Doug Dickerson, State Director of AARP NC - AARP, formerly the American Association of Retired Persons - Doug speaks in favor of Medicaid Expansion and against efforts to block Medicaid expansion in North Carolina

.
Doug wants Medicaid for 500,000 poor people in NC, most of them work for Minimum Wage, and 100,000 lost their job and are over 50 years old. Medicaid Expansion would create 23,000 jobs in North Carolina.

Very short sighted decision in North Carolina : People will have to pay higher insurance premiums because of the wrong decision of Governor and General Assembly. Crowded Emergency Rooms and Hospitals in strait financial conditions because having to cover uninsured people in grave conditions.
