Houston Chronicle : Texas on the Potomac : Detailed Political Maps of Texas Counties in colors according to inclinations - Extreme South is Blue ( Democrat ), North is deep red ( Republican ) - If Latino Turnout improves then the Blue extends to the center of the Map

.

If Texas Latinos had same turnout rate as Anglos, the state would already be ‘purple’ :

"What If" Analysis of Texas Counties : Detailed Statistical and Mathematical Analysis - There are Grey Areas at the center to be snatched by Democrats from Republicans if they wake up Hispanics. Who are in danger in next elections ??

It is not a matter of only gaining Hispanics for the Democratic Party : Other Minorities, Blacks, Asians, Native Americans, etc .... also count and can turn things around.

It is very difficult to "Turn Texas Blue", but Democrats can win little by little in the "Gray" counties of Texas Map, where the conditions are not so powerful and strong for Republicans. And Democrats can elect local officials, even U.S. House Representatives and go for the Big Prize of a U. S. Senator sooner than later.
