Amir Taheri, super famous Iranian Journalist and Author tells the story of the Chavez-Iran connection. Amir has interviewd the most important Western presidents and has written in most prominent Western publications

-

Super Interesting. You learn about Iran and Arab World reading this Intellectual. Forgive that this Newspaper belongs to the Saudi Royal Family, or that Amir once worked for the Sha when he was very young ( Pope Benedict 16 worked for Hitler as a young boy in Germany ! ) :

Amir Taheri was a friend of Chavez and lunched with him several times until he became disenchanted with the Demagogue. What most strikes Amir is the useless and unnecessary anti-Americanism and Demagoguery of Chavez.

According to Amir : Chavez squandered hundreds of billions of dollars forming a league of the most backward nations in Latin America to attack the United States and this was always useless and unnecessary.

Chavez should have used those hundreds of billions of dollars to build the Venezuelan Economy that is now ruined and in shambles.
