The Huckabee political-entertainment game is worthy of a Great Clown !

It would be very stupid of Fox News to allow Mike Huckabee announcing a Presidential Run in its network. That would be politicizing and violating the "Fair and Balanced" ( nobody believes that outright lie but you have to keep the illusion ).

Mike Huckabee is a quintessential American - He is one of the most American and less International candidates and can compete with Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann in Old-Style Americanness. While President Obama is the paradigm of the "Global President", a guy that can somehow understand the rest of the World, and that tries to reach out to Others and the Otherness.

Evangelical Pastor and Strong Conservative ..... Mike wants a return to the times of the "Great Gatsby" and "Elmer Gantry" ... although I suspect that Mike is honest and decent and not an "Elmer Gantry" ...

Mike had some quiet contacts with the "Minutemen" in 2007 and 2008, nothing that highly compromises him, and I think that the thing is not going to be researched now that he is a private citizen and not a candidate. Those suspicions would have made him less popular with Latinos.

If Mike had ever reached the Presidency of the United States he could not implement such a horrible conservative agenda as he has preached.

He has made many mistakes trying to be funny on President Obama Kenyanhood or Kenyanness, including the Mau Mau and other imprudent and disrespectful mentions of the Commander in Chief.

Huck was courting the birther nuts, and he played the Kenyan Mau Mau card against Obama, the whole press felt repugnance and revulsion. There is still some sense of Elegance and Propriety.

We can dress as Mau Mau and Zulu Warriors for Halloween, but not fro presidential Politics.

There is no doubt that Obama is a Hard and pointed nail, puncturing many Republican trial balloons ...

Better to run in 2016.
